Privacy Policy

Emblem is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is handled.

Data Collection

Emblem does not collect, transmit, or store any of your audit data on external servers. All engagement data resides exclusively on your local machine within your chosen workspace folder.

Firebase Authentication

The only online service Emblem uses is Firebase Auth, for initial license verification. No engagement data, firm user information, or audit workpapers are transmitted to Firebase or any other external service.

Local Storage

All data — including firm user profiles, engagement records, audit workpapers, and attachments — is stored locally using SQLite and JSON files. You have full control over where this data is stored and how it is backed up.

Third-Party Services

Emblem does not integrate any analytics, tracking, telemetry, or advertising services. There are no third-party scripts or cookies.
