Why Emblem?

Audit engagements involve planning, risk assessment, scoping, testing, review, and signoff — yet most teams juggle spreadsheets, documents, and half a dozen tools to get through a single engagement.

Emblem started as a personal project. As a practising chartered accountant, I wanted a single desktop application that could handle the entire workflow without uploading client data to the cloud. No subscriptions tied to a browser. No per-user licensing. Just one app on one machine, with everything local.

It's built specifically for the way audit works in practice — not how textbook diagrams draw it.
