Engagement Setup

The engagement setup page is the command centre for any engagement. From here you can:

  • Enter engagement preliminary details (name, period, client info, reporting date)
  • View and manage attachments linked to the engagement
  • Manage team assignments
  • Navigate to each audit section
  • Track signoff status across all sections
  • View review notes and activity logs

Planning & Risk

The planning page covers audit strategy and risk assessment. Document:

  • Entity understanding and industry context
  • Audit strategy and approach
  • Risk assessment (inherent and control risk)
  • Specialist involvement
  • Journal entry testing
  • SOC reliance
  • ITGC assessment

Materiality

Set overall materiality, performance materiality, clearly trivial thresholds, and materiality benchmarks. Values flow into scoping and substantive modules.

Scoping

Import trial balance data (XLSX or PDF) and scope FSLIs. Scoped items drive substantive testing and sampling.

Controls Testing

For each key control identified during scoping:

  • Document control description and frequency
  • Record walkthrough status and deviations
  • Identify deficiencies and their severity

Substantive Testing

Select scoped FSLIs, set sampling parameters, and generate workpaper packages. Track status per workpaper and link to attachments.

Conclusion & Signoffs

Consolidate audit findings, assess ICFR, and prepare the conclusion. Partners can review and sign off each section. The approval modal requires partner passcode entry.

Review Notes

Review notes can be added to any section page. Notes are tied to specific elements and include a review log. They are accessible from the engagement setup dashboard.

Attachments

The central attachment manager organises workpapers and supporting documents. Uploaded files are copied into the engagement workspace folder. Each section can reference attachments via placeholder IDs.
